All other proceeds from the VAPAA Store (other than dues) are used to help defray the Association’s legislative efforts that are being done on your behalf. These are taxable items. Thank you for your purchases and thank you for your support as we carry on the many efforts being made to help you and our chosen profession. You'll notice that direct donations are also able to be given through our store. Just click on the amount(s) and you can help us with our legislative efforts. These donations and purchases are NOT tax deductible. 

SPECIAL NOTE: Residents of Michigan: When using this site, you will be charged MI Sales Tax on all purchases INCLUDING Membership Dues and donations.  We can't make the bank program separate out dues from other merchandise.  Members dues & donations are NOT sales taxable items and the tax taken out will be immediately refunded as soon as we process your "purchase".  Please be patient and our office will take care of this, but if you don't see a refund in a few days, contact our office at vapaa1@vapaa.org to alert our Executive Director about it.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.   - Webmaster
