About VAPAA

The Veterans Affairs Physician Assistant Association is a non-profit Corporation, organized under the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act as a professional and educational organization dedicated to promoting the interests of physician assistants employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The VAPAA is the only organization that exclusively represents PAs working in the VA. The VAPAA directs efforts to accomplish its goals by establishing and developing collaborative relationships with other organizations with similar goals, working with the administration within the VHA, and promoting favorable legislative action by congress.

Why aren't you a member?
By becoming a member you will be helping your profession by telling Congress that you care enough about what you do to be represented by the only national association devoted entirely for the PA in the VA. No other organization can state that or even come close!

STEPS FOR FIRST TIME REGISTERING AND PAYING ONLINE:

FOR RENEWALS/DUES PAYMENTS:  LOGIN to the site.  (If you don't have a login/pw, use the method above for now, but then register for our web site member access.) Perform the first four steps above, then:
5) Review the billing info/name and address - enter or correct and then hit NEXT>> x2; 6) Enter your credit card info - when done select CONFIRM; 7) You will receive a confirmation email.  You are renewed as a member.

Special notice regarding new membership applications during the last quarter of the year.
If a physicain assistant joins VAPAA during the months of October, November, or December of any given year, they receive a bonus as far as their membership.  They will be members of VAPAA for the remainder of that calendar year and for the entire following year.  This is a bonus for any new members joining during the last quarter of any year.  There membership will expire December 31st of their full year of membership.

DUES ARE 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
(All Legislative expenses come from donations to our Legislative Fund and from profits from our sales in our online/conference Store.)

Life Member A person who has made a committment to join the Association for Life.
This is a one time payment - not incremental - and you never pay annual dues or worry about increasing dues rates again.

Fellow A practicing PA who is also a fellow member of AAPA. $75 / yr
Founding Fellow A VAPAA fellow member in good standing since & prior to 11/1/91

Payroll Deduction Payroll deduction of dues is available and can be done by a single
setup in your MyPay payroll account. Contact our office for details on
setting up this option. (Note: 26 payperiods per year = $78 by this
method.) NOT available for Life Memberships!
